Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Service Advisor in California (Bay Area) to guide owners through service experiences from scheduling to handover. You will translate complex vehicle needs into clear, confident communications and coordinate with service teams to ensure a seamless visit.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service background and excellent English communication. This on-site role involves collaboration with parts, production, and field services to uphold Rivian’s hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Available for a 40-hour work week, including weekends/holidays/varied shifts.
• Proficient with laptops, computers, and modern software suites (Windows, Google Workspace, Mac, CRM systems).
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for owners from appointment to vehicle handover.
• Listen to owner concerns, document in repair order, and set expectations.
• Translate technician information into clear language for owners.
• Proactively communicate status updates and timelines.
• Coordinate with Parts and Production teams for service visit alignment.
• Prepare and explain estimates and invoices clearly.
