Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a Government Regulations & Product Safety Compliance Coordinator to support regulatory, safety, and product release compliance in a fast-paced EV manufacturing environment. This role bridges Homologation, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Production, and Product Release to translate requirements into manufacturing controls.

The position covers the full lifecycle from design to final vehicle release, embedding regulatory and safety requirements into processes, inspection

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory Compliance, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years in automotive manufacturing, quality, regulatory, homologation, launch, or product compliance.
• Experience with FMVSS, EPA labels, certificate labeling, or EV regulatory topics.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes, inspection controls, and release readiness.
• Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and production quality systems.
• Knowledge of control plans, PFMEA, and error-proofing.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional influence.
• Strong organizational, project, and program management capabilities.
• Proven cross-functional leadership in safety/regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and verification controls for regulatory and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with Homologation to translate requirements into manufacturing and release specs.
• Create and manage government regulatory checklists by model and market.
• Lead readiness reviews for forward-model, launch, and product release.
• Ensure EV-specific regulatory elements (high voltage, battery safety) are integrated into production.
