Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our LA-area team. You will perform high-quality metal fabrication and structural welding for vehicle prototypes, while developing custom tooling and fixtures to support electrification projects.

You will work closely with engineering and production teams, adhere to safety standards, and help expand our shop capabilities with new equipment and technologies. A strong focus on problem solving and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fabricator or Welder, preferably in automotive or prototyping.
• Proficiency with MIG and TIG welding and metal fabrication tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with GD&T.
• Safety-minded with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication & welding of components adhering to design specs and safety standards.
• Assist in developing vehicle prototypes with engineering team.
• Design, fabricate, and maintain custom tooling and fixtures.
• Safely operate and maintain fabrication tools and shop machinery.
• Implement and optimize fabrication processes to increase efficiency.
• Troubleshoot fabrication and assembly challenges and provide practical solutions.
• Assist in expanding shop capabilities with new equipment and technology.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams for seamless integration.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in the shop.
