Ford Motor Company in California is seeking a Senior Fabricator to lead fabrication, assembly, and welding of metal components and vehicle structures. You will interpret engineering designs, operate a wide range of manual and CNC shop equipment, and perform MIG and TIG welding to build prototypes for next-gen vehicles.

Qualificações

• 5-7+ years of MIG welding experience on steel.
• 5-7+ years of TIG welding experience on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
• Experienced with 2D and 3D CAD software.
• Experience operating fabrication-related CNC equipment (waterjet, laser cutter, press brake).
• Proficient layout and measurement skills utilizing calipers, tape measures, protractors, and fixturing tools.
• Comfortable handling and working with materials such as steel, aluminum, stainless steel, carbon fiber, fiberglass, foams, and plastics.
• High attention to detail and organization; able to work in teams or independently.

Responsabilidades

• Read, interpret, and build to blueprints, 3D CAD models, and engineering drawings.
• Perform MIG welding on steel and TIG welding on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel to fabricate components.
• Utilize handheld power and pneumatic tools for material prep, trimming, and finishing.
• Operate shop equipment such as waterjet, CNC press brake, manual mill, lathe, bandsaw, grinders, and saws.
• Prep materials and fabricate components from steel, aluminum, stainless steel, carbon fiber, fiberglass, foams, and plastics.
• Execute tasks independently, meeting quality standards and deadlines, while documenting status to management and engineers.
• Maintain a clean and productive workplace with safety processes.
