Job summary

Harbinger Motors is seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our team in Garden Grove, CA. You will perform high-quality metal fabrication and welding (MIG/TIG), help develop vehicle prototypes, and build custom tooling for production.

You will read blueprints, apply GD&T, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes, ensure safety, and support rapid electrification of medium-duty trucks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fabricator or Welder in prototyping or automotive settings.
• Strong MIG/TIG welding and metal fabrication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld components to design specs and safety standards.
• Develop vehicle prototypes with engineering team.
• Design and maintain custom tooling for production.
• Operate and maintain shop equipment and welding rigs.
• Optimize fabrication processes to reduce waste and increase throughput.
• Troubleshoot fabrication and assembly challenges on the shop floor.
• Assist in expanding shop capabilities with new equipment.
