Job summary

Harbinger Motors is seeking a Production Manager to lead 2nd shift manufacturing operations, drive Lean initiatives, and manage KPIs to deliver safe, high-quality output. The role focuses on launching new assembly lines and building a high-performing production team.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in manufacturing or EV operations, with 5+ years in a leadership role, and a strong grasp of assembly processes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, automotive, or EV operations.
• 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair, rework, or assembly processes.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems, and production tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nd shift production operations, ensuring safe, efficient execution of the daily production plan.
• Lead the successful launch and ramp‑up of new assembly lines, including staffing, training, equipment readiness, and process validation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve productivity, and lower Hours Per Unit (HPU).
• Monitor production performance and KPIs, identifying gaps and driving improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production, quality, equipment, and process issues.
