Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, launch, validate, sustain, and improve manufacturing equipment and processes within the Powertrain Drive Unit organization. Assigned to the Stator + Rotor team, this role combines hands-on equipment expertise with data-driven problem solving.

You will own stations from concept through start of production, partner across teams, drive quality and safety improvements, and support FAT/SAT, process validation, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or equipment engineering experience.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment design, launch, validation and sustaining.
• Knowledge of GD&T, safety circuits, robotics and controls.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design reviews and translate requirements into manufacturable processes.
• Oversee e-motor assembly, inverter assembly, testing, and related equipment.
• Plan FAT, SAT, qualification, and Run-at-Rate for new lines.
• Drive continuous improvement in yield, throughput, and reliability.
