Job summary

Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) in Ithaca, NY is hiring a Mobility-on-Demand Transit Supervisor to lead our all-electric MOD service. You’ll supervise operators, help shape policies, and ensure safe, reliable, passenger‑focused service in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience supervising in transit or dispatch environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to keep MOD services running smoothly.
• Supervise and support operators, ensuring safe, reliable service & passenger experience.
• Lead training efforts and develop MOD program policies & procedures.
• Monitor operator performance and provide timely feedback.
• Ensure compliance with TCAT policies, DOT/DMV regulations, & NYS Article 19-A testing.
• Be on-call to respond to service issues and assist with emergencies.
• Represent TCAT at events and community meetings.
