The role emphasizes strong written coordination with utilities and public agencies, with occasional client meetings and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating utility service upgrades or interconnection for EV charging or similar loads.
• Knowledge of make-ready programs, demand charges and utility timelines.
• Strong written coordination with utilities, engineers and agency facilities teams.
• Ability to work as a 1099 consultant in a remote-first setup with occasional meetings.

Responsibilities

• Map make-ready, interconnection steps for EVSE and fleet depot projects.
• Prepare or review load letters and interconnection applications and coordination packages.
• Analyze utility rate schedules, demand charges and TOU options affecting costs.
• Advise agencies on utility timelines, capacity constraints and project phasing.
• Coordinate with facilities teams, engineers and utility account managers through energization.
