Job summary

AlphaGov seeks an experienced EV Charging Infrastructure Planner for current county projects. This 1099 project-based role is remote-first with occasional client travel.

You will join a team delivering assessments, site prioritization, grid analysis, and implementation planning for public charging networks in Oregon and beyond. Required 5+ years in EV charging planning or transportation electrification, siting and demand modeling experience, and comfort with contract-based consulting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in EV charging planning or transportation electrification.
• Experience with charging siting and demand modeling.
• Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant.

Responsibilities

• Assess EV adoption, charging demand, and gaps.
• Site and prioritize public charging locations.
• Analyze grid capacity, costs, ownership models, and funding (NEVI, CFI, NYSERDA).
• Produce an implementation plan.
• Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming.
