Job summary

Orange EV, a fast-growing manufacturer of electric vehicles, is seeking an EV Field Service Technician for weekend coverage in Ontario, CA. This role will diagnose, repair, and provide root-cause analysis for local Orange EV fleets.

It also involves evaluating Remote Monitoring System data, documenting service work, and developing reports for service improvements. You will collaborate with customers and third-party service providers, perform field upgrades or retrofits, assist with tool/parts

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or electrical industries (1+ years).
• Proficient with MS Office including Excel, Word, and TEAMS.
• Strong customer service principles and communication skills.
• Analytical approach to problem solving.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Understand the vehicle system to diagnose and repair.
• Represent Orange EV professionally.
• Use Remote Monitoring System to plan service.
• Record all service activity in the system.
• Communicate with customers and third parties for diagnosis or escalation.
• Coordinate with site manager and electricians on charging infrastructure.
• Evaluate conversion vehicle candidates and report findings.
• Support customer technicians and third-party providers.
• Provide secure storage for tools and parts.
• Deliver operator and maintenance training and assist sales efforts.
• Travel as required for training and to meet service goals.
