Orange EV is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and optimize electric vehicles across a regional area. You will analyze remote monitoring data, maintain service records, and coordinate with customers and third-party providers to ensure reliable performance.

The role requires traveling for training, performing field upgrades, and supporting sales and service teams. A technical background plus customer-service skills will help you succeed in this expanding EV segment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; related technical degree preferred.
• Travel as required for initial training and to meet service goals.
• 1+ years' experience in automotive or electrical industries.
• MS Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word, TEAMS).
• Knowledge of principles for providing superior customer service.
• Analytical approach to problem solving.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally 75–100 lbs.
• Ability to squat, kneel, or lie under vehicles during work.
• Ability to handle multiple functions and changing priorities.
• Ability to set and meet goals and follow supervisor instructions.
• Clear written communication including spelling and punctuation.

Responsabilités

• Understand the vehicle at a systemic level to diagnose and repair effectively.
• Represent Orange EV in a professional manner.
• Utilize the Remote Monitoring System and service records to plan service.
• Accurately record all service activity in the service records system.
• Communicate with customers and third-party providers to aid diagnosis and escalation.
• Collaborate with site manager and electrician on charging infrastructure logistics.
• Evaluate conversion vehicle candidates and report condition.
• Support Customer Technicians and Third-Party Providers with repairs.
• Provide a secure remote location for tools, parts, and other items.
• Deliver operator and maintenance training, plus sales and business support.
• Travel as required for initial training and to meet service goals.
