Job summary

Orange EV, a fast-growing EV manufacturer, seeks a Field Service Technician for Kansas City region. You will diagnose and repair Orange EV vehicles, evaluate Remote Monitoring data, record work, and support customers, sales, and training. Travel for initial training and ongoing service expectations is required.

The role emphasizes field upgrades, warehousing of tools/parts, and collaboration with customers and third-party service providers to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• MS Office Suite experience including Excel, Word, and TEAMS.
• Analytical approach to problem solving.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing superior customer service.

Responsibilities

• Understand the vehicle system to diagnose and repair.
• Represent Orange EV professionally.
• Use Remote Monitoring System and Service Records to plan service.
• Record all service activity in the service records system.
• Communicate with customers and third-party providers for diagnosis or escalation.
• Coordinate with site manager and electrician on charging infrastructure logistics.
• Evaluate conversion vehicle candidates and prepare condition reports.
• Support Customer Technicians and Third-Party Service Providers with repairs.
• Provide a secure remote location for tools and parts.
• Deliver Operator and Maintenance training and assist sales/BD efforts.
• Travel as required for initial training and to meet service goals.
