Job summary

Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations. You will work under senior technicians and leadership to grow technical skills while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The role may involve remote work, mobile service travel, or plant support as needed. A 4x10 schedule with a 4pm–3:30am shift and a 15% differential between 6:00p and 6:00am are included.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited automotive repair school/program is highly preferred.
• 0-3 years of hands-on experience in an automotive shop or technical environment; open to recent graduates.
• Basic exposure to electric vehicle (EV) / hybrid frameworks, or experience working in fast-paced start-up environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle service and repair diagnosis, and inspections across service center, mobile route, or remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Maintain detailed technical notes and documentation for repairs.
