Job summary

Highland Electric Fleets is seeking a Field Service Technician to service EV fleets and charging infrastructure across the Los Angeles region. You will troubleshoot, repair, and test EVs, chargers, and related equipment, ensuring high uptime and customer satisfaction.

Role requires 5+ years in electrical/EV/fleet repair, CDL within 12 months, and ASE/ OEM certifications. Recent industry tools and strong diagnostics skills are essential. Travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in electrician or EV/HD fleet repair.
• CDL required within 12 months of employment.
• 3+ ASE certifications and 4 OEM certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM-approved testing, repairs, and troubleshooting on EVs and charging stations.
• Act as on-site advocate for EVs/EVSBs and strive for high uptime.
• Document troubleshooting and repairs in the asset management system.
• Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and service.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians and assist on road calls.
• Possess and maintain tools for a Medium/Heavy-duty technician and electrical diagnostics.
