Job summary

Highland Electric Fleets is seeking a Field Service Technician to service EVs and charging stations at customer sites, ensuring high uptime and reliable operation. You will perform OEM-approved testing, diagnose issues, and coordinate with customers to keep fleets moving.

Training will cover Level 2 through DC fast chargers, with a focus on safety, documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced field environment. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years in electrician, EV, or medium/heavy-duty fleet repair.
• Advanced diagnostic, electrical, and AC skills required.
• Able to read safety and maintenance documents.
• Proficient with MS Office and related software.
• Own the recommended tools for a Medium Duty technician and electrical diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Achieve 90% overall uptime at customer locations.
• Repair and test EVs and charging infrastructure on-site.
• Maintain documentation of troubleshooting and repairs in the asset management platform.
• Coordinate with external vendors and support teams.
• Mentor junior technicians and perform road calls when needed.
