Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician in New York to support vehicle repairs at service centers or on-site locations. The role involves travel to various sites and potential remote work as business needs demand, with a 40-hour week and a 15% pay differential for evening hours.

The ideal candidate will diagnose and repair vehicles, communicate professionally, maintain documentation, and stay current with technical training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Able to read/speak fluent English and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs and physical tasks.
• Experience in automotive shop or EV repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install and inspect vehicles at service centers or client sites.
• Identify Rivian products, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests and manage parts orders, receiving, shipping and inventory.
• Document all work and notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate in a team and communicate professionally with customers.
