Job summary
Harbinger is seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our team, focusing on precision machining, fabrication, and prototype work for medium-duty EVs. You’ll read blueprints, set up CNC machines, and help design tooling to support rapid electrification projects.
You'll collaborate with engineering and production to create vehicle prototypes, improve processes, and maintain high safety and quality standards in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fabricator or Machinist, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with GD&T and precise measurement practices.
- Experience with CNC setup, operation, and CAD/CAM programming.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Certification in welding or machining is a plus.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Fabrication & Machining: high-precision parts per specs.
- Develop vehicle prototypes and assist engineering teams.
- Design and maintain tooling and fixtures.
- Operate lathes, mills, welding equipment, and CNC machines.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure safety and maintain a clean work area.
