Job summary
Harbinger is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, Powertrain to lead strategic design, development, and implementation of automated manufacturing equipment for EDU assembly and chassis integration. You’ll drive high-precision, high-volume EV drivetrain manufacturing, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on the lines.
You will manage lifecycle activities, collaborate with product design, quality, controls, and operations, and travel as needed to support domestic and international
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 10+ years in advanced manufacturing engineering; 8+ years in high-precision powertrain/auto manufacturing.
- Experience with high-precision assembly, automation, and measurement systems.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement long-term process & equipment strategies for EV powertrain manufacturing lines.
- Lead full equipment lifecycle from concept to high-volume production and validation.
- Lead facility/line setup, utility integration, and automation cell integration.
- Act as SME for powertrain equipment, including high-precision automation and metrology.
