Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks an energetic problem solver to join our in-house technical support team. You will troubleshoot EV charging stations in the field, working with customer support and hardware vendors to return stations to service quickly.

The role requires comfort with hardware and software technologies and the ability to meet demanding SLAs in a fast-paced environment. You will participate in on-call rotations, communicate clearly with customers and partners, and provide technical

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in electronics, mechanical engineering, or related technical discipline.
2+ years in a support role in the eMobility/EV charging industry.
3-5 yrs of technical support, computer/network programming, electrical contracting, customer support or related area.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot issues within SLA timelines.
Monitor network and identify issues before customers notice them.
Manage actions on service tickets with internal/external teams.
Analyze and feedback on hardware/software issues.
Guide resolutions for hardware issues with on-site technicians.
Provide technical recommendations to resolve network issues.
On-call availability on rotation.
Interact professionally with colleagues, partners, and customers under pressure.
Work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
Be on-call after hours periodically.
Familiar with MS Office and cloud-based ticket systems such as Zendesk.
