Job summary
Schneider Electric is seeking an energetic problem solver for our in-house technical support team focused on EV charging stations. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, coordinate with HW vendors and field technicians, and resolve tickets within tight SLA timelines.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field, 2+ years in EV charging support, and 3-5 years in related technical support roles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or related technical discipline is required.
- 2+ years in a support role in the eMobility/EV Charging industry.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in technical support, computer/network programming, electrical contracting, or related area.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure with customers.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and identify issues within SLA timelines.
- Monitor network for proper charge station function and preempt issues.
- Manage service tickets with internal and external teams and partners.
- Analyze and provide feedback on hardware and software issues.
- Guide resolutions for hardware issues with on-site technicians.
- Provide technical recommendations to resolve network issues.
- On-call availability on rotation.
- Demonstrate ownership and a customer-first mindset.
