Job summary

Tesla is seeking a Project Developer, Supercharger to locate and develop optimal charging sites in the United States. The role requires coordinating with internal teams and external partners to identify sites, assess viability, and manage the end-to-end permitting and agreement process.

The ideal candidate will lead negotiations, drive utility coordination, and ensure timely hand-off to installation teams. On-site work with cross-functional collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• Experience identifying sites for charging items.
• Ability to manage contracts and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a pipeline of new site locations.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
• Develop, refine and oversee site assessment and scope.
• Lead efforts to obtain necessary utility approvals and permits.
• Work with lawyers to draft, negotiate and finalize site host agreements.
• Collaborate with installation partners to plan costs and schedules.
