Qualifications

• Four-year high school diploma with two years of engineering technician experience.
• Associate degree in engineering technology specialization.
• Education/experience equivalent to two years of satisfactory experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and oversight of city EV charging stations (Level 2 and fast charging).
• Conduct site visits and field surveys; generate maps, visualizations, and field reports.
• Assist with inspections of parking garages and lots for safety and contract compliance.
• Design parking layouts and traffic equipment using AutoCAD; prepare and review drawings/specifications.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation (proposals, contracts, maintenance plans).
• Investigate and respond to complaints submitted via 311, the Commissioner’s office, or the public.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to monitor charger functionality and resolve issues.
• Provide administrative, analytical, and technical support as needed.
