Job summary

Rivian’s Network Operations Center is seeking a Network Operations Center Engineer to help scale our NOC capabilities and run day‑to‑day responsibilities across remote charging deployments.

You will monitor and troubleshoot Rivian’s charging network, collaborate with cross-functional teams, document cases, and support firmware rollouts on DC and AC assets, while upholding data privacy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related IT discipline.
• Experience with case/work order management tools (Salesforce, JIRA, ZenDesk, ServiceNow).
• Understanding of charging standards and protocols (OCPP, ISO 15118, J1772, CCS, NACS).
• Familiar with Linux and Networking Fundamentals.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain data confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support network operations of Rivian’s charging deployments.
• Respond to inquiries via calls, emails, tickets, and Slack from partners and teams.
• Monitor assets and review Linux logs to remediate issues.
• Maintain site infrastructure with asset management platform.
• Assist in configuring assets via Linux and internal tools.
• Document case details and update troubleshooting docs (Confluence, Salesforce, JIRA).
• Support firmware deployments for DC and AC assets.
• Collaborate to remediate hardware/software issues in the field.
