Duke Energy seeks a Transportation Electrification Contractor Specialist to maximize uptime of EV charging assets in the field. This hands-on role works independently and with internal and vendor personnel to keep systems running.

The position involves site visits, triage, troubleshooting and repair of EV chargers (120–480 volts), with daily state travel and occasional out-of-state training. You’ll create tickets and document visits for coordination and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, technically skilled worker
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair EV charging assets
• Willingness to travel within state and for training

• Triage, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace EV chargers in the field
• Visit sites to maximize uptime of EV charging assets
• Create repair tickets and document service visits with field software
• Coordinate with internal and vendor personnel to schedule work
