Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Field Service Technician in Chandler, AZ to diagnose, repair, and maintain electric, hybrid, and conventional vehicles with emphasis on EV systems and high-voltage components. The role requires frequent travel to customer sites and independent field work, collaborating with technical and parts teams.

You will stay current with manufacturer bulletins, mentor junior technicians, and document work thoroughly.

Qualifications

• ASE or OEM EV certification required.
• At least 2+ years hands-on EV maintenance/repair experience.
• Minimum 5+ years as automotive technician or mechanic.
• Master-level technician with advanced diagnostic capabilities.
• Minimum 4 ASE certifications and ability to obtain remaining within 1 year.
• Experience with high-voltage EV systems.
• Experience replacing EV batteries and battery service.
• Experience using diagnostic software and updates.
• Strong debugging with schematics and technical docs.
• Willingness to travel 50–70% of the time.
• Professional, customer-facing demeanor.
• Based in Arizona near Chandler training center.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair EV, hybrid, and conventional vehicles using diagnostics and schematics.
• Perform repairs per repair orders with quality and safety standards.
• Identify root causes and repair high-voltage systems and batteries.
• Coordinate with parts to obtain needed components and document work orders.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and safety.
• Mentor technicians and stay current with manufacturer bulletins.
