Job summary

IONNA is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Engineer to join the site operations team. You will work independently in the field and remotely, interfacing with Call Center, Tier 2 support, and hardware partners to troubleshoot and resolve charging station issues.

The role requires initiative, comfort with hardware and software, and driving SLA-driven resolutions. You will travel ~80% of each month to IONNA locations, including overnight stays as needed, and participate in after-hours on-call

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a field service role.
• Break/fix and commissioning training on similar equipment.
• Working familiarity with electrical/electronic concepts.
• Ability to obtain EVSE certifications with partners.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce or similar ticketing system.
• Strong troubleshooting and ownership attitude.

Responsibilities

• Execute onsite maintenance and repair of EV charging hardware and power systems.
• Perform site health checks across your service territory to protect the customer experience.
• Prioritize and execute repairs with field service coordinators to meet SLAs.
• Manage travel, parts inventory, and service priorities autonomously.
• Complete Field Service Reports accurately and on time.
• Troubleshoot to root cause and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide onsite support to facilities and commissioning teams as needed.
