Job summary

Tecknomic LLC in Liberty, NC is seeking a Battery Manufacturing Engineer to join the Implementation Group. The role leads procurement, validation, installation, pre-production trials, and launch of EV battery manufacturing equipment on 100% onsite operations.

You will develop manufacturing process plans, machine specifications, and manage schedules and budgets while partnering with vendors and field teams to drive successful production trials and launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a similar technical field.
• 5+ years in an engineering role, preferably in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement, validation, installation, and launch of EV battery manufacturing equipment.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets.
• Develop battery manufacturing process plans and machine specifications.
• Apply design knowledge to define engineering criteria and options.
• Prepare documents and drawings detailing scope, execution, and progress.
• Coordinate with field teams and machine vendors to resolve field issues.
