Job summary

Hsbma Llc is seeking an Assembly Tech Team Supervisor to oversee core EV battery manufacturing processes, including notching, vacuum drying, stacking, tab-welding, and packaging. The role directly supervises technicians and coordinates with Process Engineers, Safety, Quality, and production teams.

The candidate will coach technicians, manage tool replacements, line changeovers, and safety initiatives, ensuring adherence to 5S and 3R standards and efficient shift handovers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is REQUIRED.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of operational tools and procedures gained through work experience.
• Microsoft Excel proficient.
• Night shift availability preferred but not required, unless specified during the interview.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing, especially automotive/electrical/chemical manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with LEAN, SPC, Six Sigma programs preferred.
• Experience with MES preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee notching, vacuum drying, stacking, tab-welding, and packaging processes.
• Coordinate and supervise technicians; coach/mentor when needed.
• Collaborate with Process Engineers, Safety, Quality, and production teams.
• Manage tool replacement, inventory, maintenance scheduling, and work orders.
• Lead line changeovers and verify function and quality before full production.
• Monitor 3R and 5S for safety and workplace organization.
• Track attendance, shift schedules, and performance; balance workload.
• Coordinate with vendors for sourcing tools, parts, and supplies.
