Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a Lead Battery Disassembly Technician to perform high-volume, safe EV battery pack disassembly in a manufacturing setting. You will serve as the on-floor SME, training technicians, enforcing high-voltage safety protocols, and ensuring quality and compliance across the disassembly process.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of battery disassembly or related high-voltage/mechanical experience.
• Experience training, coaching, and mentoring technicians.
• Familiarity with safety protocols, PPE, and LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as floor-level SME on disassembly, HV safety, LOTO and rigging.
• Train and onboard technicians on instructions and safety protocols.
• Verify quality and safety of disassembly work and coach improvements.
• Escalate issues to supervision and engineering when needed.
• Lead routine operational questions and maintain floor conduct standards.
