Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a dedicated Autonomous Vehicle Fleet Manager in San Francisco, CA to lead a team of service technicians, uphold safety and quality, and drive performance across the plant floor. You will oversee hiring, coaching, scheduling, and professional development while ensuring client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with EV/AV tech, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience with Electric Vehicles and/or Autonomous Vehicles is required.
• Ability to build and lead a strong team in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
• Strong coaching, communication, and HR policy implementation skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety, compliance, audits, and quality of work oversight.
• Manage a team of service technicians including hiring and performance management.
• Develop technicians and promote continuous learning.
• Oversee workload, dispatch, and minimize vehicle downtime.
• Support issue resolution and root cause analysis for customer disputes.
• Define processes, inventory management, and parts procurement.
• Account for billability targets and P&L outcomes.
• Manage repair orders from intake to close.
• Escalate issues when needed and communicate resolutions.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Procurement, and external partners.
