Job summary

TSMG in Europe is seeking an Automotive Technician to support maintenance on electric and autonomous vehicles. You will work under Senior Technicians, gaining hands-on experience with advanced EV systems while keeping vehicles safe and ready for use.

Based in Barcelona, Madrid, Munich or Berlin, the role requires a proactive learner, strong teamwork, and flexibility for night and weekend shifts. English is required; local language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as automotive technician in dealer, workshop, or fleet environment.
• Automotive technical qualification or certification required.
• Basic understanding or experience with electric or hybrid vehicles is preferred.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in EV and advanced vehicle systems.
• Comfortable working in shift-based environments, including nights and weekends.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• English required; additional local language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance tasks on electric and autonomous vehicles
• Carry out basic diagnostics, repairs, and component replacements as directed
• Support troubleshooting and technical tasks related to vehicle systems under supervision
• Assist with hardware and software-related activities linked to autonomous systems
• Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and operational procedures
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe workshop and working environments
• Accurately complete service documentation and maintenance records
• Support shift operations to ensure vehicle readiness and minimal downtime
• Follow instructions from Senior Technicians and contribute to team efficiency
• Adhere to all health, safety, and compliance requirements at all times
