Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) is seeking a Production General Assembly Customer Quality Improvement Specialist to analyze data, identify trends, and drive improvements at the point of assembly.

You will coordinate with Production and Engineering, investigate customer claims, lead improvement initiatives, and train the team. Domestic and international travel may be required as part of quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in vehicle production.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in an engineering/industrial environment; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large data sets to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate yard campaigns with Production and Engineering to improve quality at the point of assembly.
• Investigate customer claims to determine responsibility, countermeasures, containment and corrective actions.
• Investigate real-time quality issues to determine root cause and communicate findings to responsible parties.
• Coordinate daily metrics meetings with assembly lines and lead improvement efforts.
• Lead training sessions and other improvement exercises with the Production Team.
• Complete all other tasks assigned by Leadership team.
• Collaborate with Production Leadership and Engineering to improve quality at the point of assembly.
