Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America, based in Georgia, seeks a General Assembly Vehicle Engineering Associate/Specialist to act as the technical expert for the assigned area during vehicle launches. You will coordinate activities, install new equipment, select suppliers, and manage implementation phases to ensure a smooth start.

You will prepare specification packages, review requirements, and communicate with the Korea-based Advanced Vehicle Manufacturing Engineering Team and other R&D groups

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint proficiency.
• CATIA, CAD or similar programs preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Domestic and international travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert during vehicle launches.
• Coordinate project activities including new equipment installation and supplier selection.
• Prepare spec packages after reviewing requirements (quality, safety, UPH, layout, ergonomics).
• Communicate with Korea and other R&D teams for successful launches.
• Prepare assembly process sheets and verify workability and quality.
