Job summary

eBay is seeking a Pan-European Onboarding Advisor to guide high-potential merchants through onboarding, from account setup to achieving their first verified GMV on the platform. You will coordinate with Europe-based Business Development teams to ensure a smooth onboarding journey and reliable performance against commercial targets.

Fluency in English and German is required, and the role is based in the Republic of Ireland.

Qualifications

1+ years in e-commerce, account management, or customer-facing role.
Strong understanding of sales funnels, activation metrics, and pipeline management.
Excellent communication and relationship-building for international merchants.
Willingness to travel as a representative of the brand.

Responsibilities

Guide merchants through onboarding journey from setup to first verified GMV.
Manage activation pipelines and track onboarding milestones.
Build trusted relationships and resolve barriers to growth.
Document customer interactions and monitor onboarding progress in systems.
Provide consultative support on marketplace growth, cross-border shipping, and billing setup.
Collaborate with Business Development and Vertical Managers to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
