Job summary

Zayo Europe is seeking a Business Development Director to drive revenue growth in Germany and across selected European markets. You will own market strategies, identify opportunities, and lead partnerships with data centres, cloud providers, and carriers to expand Zayo Europe’s footprint.

Responsibilities include guiding sales teams, shaping pricing strategies, and supporting negotiations with key stakeholders. Expect travel up to 50% and a strategic, customer-centric approach to growth.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, or Economics or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 8+ years’ sales, business development, product management, account management, or sales engineering experience.
Solid understanding of the cloud, colocation and data centre ecosystem.
Strong contracting, pricing and deal negotiation capabilities.
Experience engaging with C-level and VP/Director level stakeholders.
Proficiency with CRM tools and data analysis to drive revenue.

Responsibilities

Lead market growth strategies across customer segments, assets and partnerships.
Deal pursuit and support of solution sales with the sales organization.
Ensure transparent activity through Salesforce and other reporting.
Develop and manage strategic partnerships with data centres, cloud providers, carriers and real estate partners.
Provide competitive landscape insights and pricing strategies.
Support executive-level presentations and RFP responses to close deals.
Travel up to 50% as required to drive regional growth.
