Job summary

The Louisiana Division of Administration, Office of Technology Services, End User Computing section, seeks an IT asset management professional to oversee EUC hardware assets and lifecycle processes. You will develop standard asset workflows, manage procurement and contracts, and coordinate with vendors to ensure compliant, cost-effective hardware solutions.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, reporting for billing, renewals, audits, and coordination with the IT Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology with three years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services; OR
• Bachelor’s degree with twenty-four semester hours in an information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics field plus two years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services; OR
• Master’s degree plus two years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily operations related to EUC Hardware assets and lifecycle process.
• Develops and implements standard processes to request and receive hardware assets; coordinates with hardware vendors for product availability and pricing.
• Maintains EUC hardware asset inventory, monitors lifecycle status, and conducts audits for accuracy.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in information technology

Bachelor’s degree with 24 semester hours in information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics

Master’s degree

Associate’s degree in information technology
