Iron Systems, Inc. is looking for an IT desktop support specialist to manage desktop devices from incident to resolution, including IMAC, desk-side services, and break-fix for laptops and desktops. You will ensure standard hardware/software configurations for the full device lifecycle and remote management.

Responsibilities cover patch management, hardware replacements with vendor spares, security monitoring, and VIP desk-side support when other IT teams are unavailable."

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience on Windows 7 OS.
• Knowledge in Active Directory and smart hands-on support.
• Experience supporting MAC devices and tablets.
• Experience with ServiceNow and IT service management tools.
• Proficiency with EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office and Outlook.
• Understanding of Lync, VPN, and mobile device support.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request) and stock management.
• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent in electronics; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage Desktop Devices (hardware, software and connectivity) incidents through to resolution.
• Manage IMAC and desk side support services.
• Manage hard and soft break fix services for laptops and desktops.
• Provide standard and approved hardware and software support and maintenance on Desktop Devices for their lifecycle.
• Support, Manage, Optimize and Maintain configuration and installation of the Desktop, including patch updates and hardware replacements with vendor spares.
• Analyze Service Desk calls to identify training needs and potential automation.
• Ensure each Desktop Device is installed with the appropriate Desktop image.
• Monitor security profiles and antivirus on all Desktop Devices and ensure compliance.
• Provide VIP desk-side support per contract and be point of contact at the site when other IT support is unavailable.
