Job summary

Iron Systems, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks an IT Desktop Support professional to manage desktop devices, incidents, and desk-side services across the user base. The role covers hardware, software, connectivity, and lifecycle maintenance including remote management.

You will maintain standard OS configurations, patching, security monitoring, and vendor coordination while serving as the site IT contact when the broader team is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Must have Windows 7 OS experience.
• Proficient in AD and desk-side support.
• Experience supporting MAC devices and tablets.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar service management tool.
• Familiarity with EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office and Outlook.
• Understanding of Lync, VPN, and mobile device support.
• Awareness of ITIL incident, change, and problem processes.
• Associate degree/technical emphasis in electronics; Bachelor’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage desktop device incidents through to resolution.
• Manage IMAC and desk-side support services.
• Manage hard and soft break-fix for laptops and desktops.
• Provide standard hardware/software support for Desktop Devices across lifecycle.
• Support, manage, and install desktop configurations including patches and hardware replacements with vendor spares.
• Analyse Service Desk calls to identify training or automation needs.
• Ensure each desktop device is installed with the appropriate desktop image.
• Monitor security profiles and anti-virus on all Desktop Devices.
• Provide VIP desk-side support per contract and be site point of contact when others unavailable.
