Job summary
QUANTEAM - North America (RAINBOW PARTNERS Group) is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a strategic migration of Power & Gas trading operations to a modern, vendor-based platform. You will work at the intersection of trading business knowledge and system implementation in a dynamic commodity trading environment.
The role includes requirements gathering, gap analysis, and UAT leadership, with responsibilities spanning front and middle office workflows and data migration
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst in commodity trading.
- Experience with Power & Gas trading operations is preferred.
- Ability to document BRDs, data dictionaries, and process flows.
Responsibilities
- Elicit, document, and validate business requirements from front and middle office stakeholders across Power and Gas trading desks.
- Conduct gap analysis between current ETRM and target platform, identifying functional, data, and workflow discrepancies.
- Translate trading desk requirements into functional specifications for development and configuration teams.
- Support data migration activities including trade history, position data, and reference data mapping.
- Facilitate workshops with traders, risk managers, schedulers, and operations teams.
- Coordinate and lead UAT cycles, including test case design and defect tracking.
