Eaton Corporation's Electrical Division in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Drafter/Designer to join our team. The role performs engineered-to-order (ETO) design work in 2D and 3D CAD, creates Bills of Material (BOMs), and processes engineering change notices.

You'll work with SAP, PLM, AutoCAD and Inventor, developing CTO drawings and supporting engineering, sales, and shop floor teams. A 50-mile residency requirement applies; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• No relocation benefit is offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration status for this position; no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Perform engineered-to-order (ETO) design work in 2D and 3D CAD, create BOMs, process engineering change notices and technical work per customer requirements.
• Provide guidance to ETO Engineers, Application and Proposal Engineers, Marketing, Sales, shop floor personnel, and Purchasing; make independent design decisions with moderate supervision.
• Create construction drawings from sketches and engineer references; select buyout specs based on customer quotes and specs; work with Structural Engineer on member sizes and BOMs.
