Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking an Electrical Designer for an onsite role in Greenwood, SC, Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm. The designer will prepare complex electrical drawings and layouts, applying 2D AutoCAD skills to translate customer specifications into detailed drawings.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in engineering and experience with 2D CAD; relocation is not offered and candidates within 50 miles will be considered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related field
• Experience with complex electrical layouts and drawings is preferred
• Familiarity with 2D CAD drawing standards and electrical principals

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex layouts, circuit diagrams, sketches and drawings from customer specs and engineering interpretations
• Analyze customer inquiries related to assemblies during engineering and manufacturing phases
• Develop layout sketches for engineering tests to determine performance of components
• Provide information to ensure efficient material procurement, testing and installation
• Compile data for project assignments and develop specifications and reports
• Coordinate with manufacturing personnel to review diagrams and progress of design work
