Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Drafter for on-site work at our Greenwood, SC facility. The position requires a minimum two years of drafting/CAD experience and offers an annual salary range of $56,000–$83,000, with eligibility for a variable incentive program.

You will interpret customer drawings and specifications for quotation and production, interact with order engineers, sales and customers, and provide technical guidance to production personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum Two Years Of Drafting/CAD Experience Required
• High School/GED from an accredited institution required
• Eaton will not consider applicants for immigration sponsorship or support for this position
• No relocation benefit offered; candidate must reside within 50-mile radius of Greenwood, SC

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing, providing expertise on product applications, performance, specifications, and design capabilities
• Maintain current knowledge of product engineering technologies, industry trends, and market conditions to support business objectives and customer needs
• Support field sales by developing technical documentation, analyses, and customer presentations to enhance sales performance
• Coordinate and assign engineering and drafting workloads; mentor and develop new team members
• Provide technical support to manufacturing by creating and maintaining production drawings and resolving complex issues
• Represent the engineering team in cross-functional meetings to resolve customer concerns and quality issues
• Conduct customer and employee training sessions, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
