Acentra seeks a ETL DataStage Developer to join our growing team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a mid-level ETL/DataStage Developer responsible for successful delivery of Acentra Health’s IL MMIS conversion practices. Candidates for this role will be supporting the development and operations requirements, working cohesively with other database developers/leads/subject matter experts, database administrators, architects, data quality analysts, and other teams, as well as manage client relationships within the context of an individual role.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in meetings and discussions with Functional/Technical Leads to understand the requirements and work out a design.
• Prepare the Requirements and Design documents
• Write/maintain SQL and PL/SQL stored program units/packages and maintain coding standards.
• Write unit tests (document and code) for the PL/SQL stored program units/packages
• Participate in code reviews and ensure the code written complies with the company standards and policies
• Support Production Operations as necessary
• Interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner
• Continue enhancing own ETL InfoSphere DataStage and PL/SQL skills on new practices, frameworks and standards
• Mentor other ETL/DataStage developers in enhancing their skills
• Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelors degree.
• 5+ years' experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of design and development using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Experience in database programming on Oracle SQL / PL/SQL and/or related technologies that encapsulate SQL, including Cursors, Ref-cursors, Procedures, Functions and Packages, Oracle Supplied Packages, Collections, Partitioned Tables, Triggers, Table Indexing.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• Familiarity with the integration of the IBM InfoSphere tool suite (metadata, glossary, lineage, data quality, Information Analyzer).
• Expertise with Shell Script.
• Solid facilitation skills to gather the necessary information to document and/or develop a plan, strategic/tactical
