Job summary

Chevron Phillips Chemical Company in Orange, TX is seeking a Shift Operations Supervisor for the Ethylene Operations Team at the Golden Triangle Polymers facility. This role will supervise one of four shifts or provide vacation relief, focusing on safe startup and reliable operation of the new unit.

The ideal candidate will have a safety mindset, strong leadership, and the ability to translate unit objectives into daily tasks, while maintaining clear communication across shifts.

Qualifications

Knowledge of unit processes and procedures.
Experience in a supervisory role.
Demonstrated safety leadership.
Ability to translate unit objectives into daily tasks.
Strong communication of critical information across shifts.

Responsibilities

Follows safe work practices and contributes to a safe culture.
Ensures compliance with safety/environmental policies and practices.
Leads safety and compliance within the team.
Plans and coordinates maintenance per site processes.
Manages daily shift performance for safe, reliable production of quality products.
Maintains communications between teams and other business units.
Supports training and development of operators.
