INEOS Acetyls in Texas City is seeking a Plasticizer Shift Team Lead to supervise Outside Operators on a 12-hour rotating shift, including nights, weekends and holidays, ensuring safe operation within design envelopes.

The STL will coach operators, enforce procedures, manage training, and coordinate with Training Coordinators while maintaining logs and reports. A P-Tech degree is preferred, with strong leadership and safety awareness.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of Operator experience in a petrochemical or refinery setting.
• 2+ years Console Operator experience
• Process Technology (P-Tech) degree preferred
• Supervisory experience required if less than 5 years in plant operations
• Must possess or obtain TWIC before first day
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must possess a valid driver\'s license

Aufgaben

• Ensure safety compliance and enforce life-saving rules and safety principles.
• Coach, evaluate, and develop Operators on shift.
• Operate the asset control board and manage startup/shutdown activities.
• Enter high quality work notifications and coordinate with supervisors.
• Identify production or safety issues and initiate corrective actions.
• Lead shift handovers, document conditions, and maintain shift logs.
