Job summary

INEOS Texas City is seeking a Site Shift Lead to act as a management representative on each shift and as on-scene Incident Commander during emergencies. The role covers operations across Acetic Acid, Plasticizer-168, Utilities and Logistics on a 12-hour rotating shift, including nights, weekends and holidays.

The position requires 18+ with a high school diploma or GED, 10+ years of plant operations experience, and 5+ years of supervisory/leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of plant operations experience with process troubleshooting.
• 5+ years Console Operator experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must obtain TWIC credential before first day.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site Incident Commander during emergencies.
• Lead safety meetings and promote Life Saving Rules.
• Audit and improve process safety programs and staffing.
• Oversee off-hours staffing, maintenance, and logistics tasks.
• Coordinate emergency response with Fire & Safety and EOC.
• Ensure safe operation within operating envelopes and issue permits.
