Job summary

American Century Investments seeks a Compliance Consultant to co-lead the Code of Ethics program and support a broad range of corporate compliance initiatives. This in-house hybrid role involves collaborating with senior leaders, monitoring risks, and enhancing controls in a regulated environment.

You will develop and deliver training, investigate potential issues, and partner with stakeholders to ensure adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years in a compliance-based role at a financial services or regulated company.
• Knowledge of securities regulatory environment and relevant rules/regulations.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, investigative skills; interpret complex regulations and document findings.
• Experience using compliance technology platforms and improving processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with independence and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead the firm’s Code of Ethics program and monitor employee personal trading activity.
• Prepare reporting and communications for Ethics Committee, Fund Boards, and stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver training programs on compliance policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor gifts, entertainment, and business expenses; support Corporate Compliance Program.
• Identify emerging regulatory requirements and design controls to support compliance obligations.
• Leverage technology to improve processes and overall program effectiveness.
