Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Client Service Representative for a contract role in Boston, MA. The position centers on ETF custody, fund accounting, and client service, coordinating cross-functional deliverables and resolving client issues.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to train others, with experience in custody operations and client reporting. Hybrid work arrangement with three days in office.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication with professional client-facing presence.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn, adapt, and train others on new technologies and systems.
• Solid analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clients and internal partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; comfort working with multiple data sources is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor and respond to daily client inquiries related to custody, fund accounting, administration, and ETF operations.
• Maintain client communication on inquiry status, outstanding items, and resolution progress, escalating complex or high-risk items as needed.
• Conduct client touchpoints and review meetings, preparing agendas, materials, minutes, and follow-ups.
• Review daily and monthly reports, reconciliations, and service metrics; identify and elevate issues impacting servicing.
• Partner with internal teams including Fund Accounting, Custody Operations, Client Onboarding, Product, Technology, and Risk to resolve requests and support deliverables.
• Share client insights and recurring themes to improve service quality and product capabilities.
• Communicate upcoming client activities to internal groups to ensure planning and support; understand client organizational structures for targeted communication.
• Leverage internal technology platforms to manage inquiries; educate clients on system functionality and coordinate demos.
• Contribute to training materials and product enhancement discussions.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and best practices; safeguard data confidentiality and manage reporting requirements with accuracy.
