Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. in Cudahy, CA is seeking an ETCH Processor/trainee to support the ETCH department within our Inspection and NDT services group.

You will train under Class 1–3 processors, perform etch and testing activities per approved procedures, review quality records, and help maintain safety standards; full-time employment with health, dental, vision and a 401(k) plan. This role offers progression opportunities to higher classifications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Must be detail oriented, have integrity, good work habits, and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Minimum training hours: Class 1 160 h, Class 2 320 h, Class 3 640 h under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform etch processing per procedures and specifications.
• Establish daily etch rates using the weight loss method.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance in all tasks.
• Review Work Orders and Quality Records as part of the Contract Review process.
